I know the clothes coloring got first place in the poll but my ordering of coloring is Skin, Hair, then clothes i always color clothes last xD so i submitted hair first since i colored that first lol the Clothes one will come later on when i get everything together :)

and yea this is how i color my hairs its not really exact but its very close description of what i do the tools i use and whatnot ;u;~

lol its my first time making something like this so im sorry if i broke your head looking at it; :icontearplz:

not to be to judge mental but the way you shade hair is to inefficient for it to come out looking only good not hot damn

This is very helpful! What is the option in Photoshop for clipping layers?

In the layers tab, you'll find "clipping mask" and that should be the equivalent to the clipping layer :) if you're someone who prefers keyboard shortcuts, then it's control+g

Hope this works and remember to keep the mask layer above the colored layer ^^

my apologies if you've already found out how,,, orz

Actually, this tutorial came in handy for me, a Photoshop user. Just seeing the process of the shading and lighting and the organization of your layers are useful tips, and also I really liked the lil' trick of shifting the color wheel a little to make the shading and lighting colors stand out. Thank you for making this :D

I think this is one of the best, if not thee best, hair tutorial I have ever seen. It applies so easily. I really like how to explain what everything does and then show how it is applied. Finally a way of shading that fits with my art style :D Thank you!
